Itinerary:

Meet at the Sheep River Park Headquarters parking lot at 9:45 and be ready to hike by 10:00 AM. We will hike Macabee Loop Trail to Pine Ridge and cut across on the Balsam Link to Long Prairie trail back to the vehicles.

From the four way stop in Turner Valley drive west on AB-546 for 18 km. Turn right into the Sheep River Park Headquarters.

Notes:

Whether forecast is for highs of 7 to 9 degrees for Friday to Sunday so hopefully much of the snow should melt. Trail conditions are expected to be mix of snow and mud. If conditions are really bad we can shorten the loop.
