Itinerary:
Meet at the parking area on the right side just before the winter gate on AB-546 at 9:45 AM. We will either carpool or go in a convoy 5 km to a very small parking are near the trailhead. We will hike up the VERY STEEP trail to the Windy Point summit and continue along the Gleason Ridge route to where it joins up with a more gentle trail back to the vehicles. We will do this loop counterclockwise so we hike up, not down, the STEEP part.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From the 4 way stop in Turner Valley on AB-22 drive 20 km West on AB-546 to the parking area on the right just before the winter gate / Sandy McNabb turnoff.

Notes:
This is EXPLORATORY as I have never done it before. The fist km is VERY STEEP climbing 250 meters in one kilometer. The rest of the hike should be more normal. You are encouraged to arrange your own carpooling.
