Itinerary:

Meet at Beaver Lodge parking area on Hwy 66 (across from Powderface parking lot) at 930 am. We will have a 3 km car shuttle halfway up the hwy 66 hill to our start point. We proceed north on a little-known trail to intersect Powderface trail at the link to Prairie Creek trail. This is in Daffern Vol 2 hike 28B and E. Contact me if you would like me to send you and AllTrails version. This will be about 12 km and 459 m total vertical so “advanced moderate”. There will be approximately 1 km across a treed meadow where the trail is poor – however I have been on this hike about five times and we will not get lost.
