Itinerary:

Meet at the Sheep river Park Headquarters parking lot at 9:30 AM. We will drive in a convoy 2.5 km east to the trailhead. We will hike up the Forked Ridge and over to the picnic table at the top of Pine Ridge for lunch with a view. We will return the same way. We might look a short ways north of the Forked Ridge summit to see what the terrain is like for a future hike.

Drive 18 km west of Turner Valley from the 4-way stop on AB-546. Turn right into the Sheep River Park Headquarters parking lot.

Notes:

A short drive for a moderate hike at a casual pace. Please arrange car pooling yourself with fellow hikers. Contact me if you wish to car pool with us from the SW.
