Itinerary:

Meet at the Sheep River Park Headquarters parking lot at 9:45 AM and be ready to hike by 10:00 AM. We will start up Pine Ridge, do the Macabee Loop back to Pine Ridge, take a break at the picnic table with a view, cut across Balsam Link to Long Prairie back back to the vehicles.

Drive 18 km west of the 4-way stop in Turner Valley on AB-546. Turn right into the Sheep River Park Headquarters.

Notes:

These are well marked and mapped trails and should be packed. There will be snow, ice and mud on the trails. Forecast is sunny with a high of 20 Celsius!
