Itinerary:

Meet at trailhead for 1000, hitting the trail no later than 10:15. We will be moving at a steady pace with a few breaks for water and to shed layers. This one is consistently uphill. I've done this one before in September. It offered beautiful panoramic views including sights of Devil's Head and Blackrock mountain. Please pack spikes, poles, bearspray etc. as per CWH list.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Taken directly from https://kananaskistrails.com/trailfinder/displaytrail.php?id=301. If you are not familiar with the area: Start: Hwy. 940 (Forestry Trunk Road) north of Hwy. 1A After about 55 km turn left on Waiparous Valley Road (about 700 m beyond the North Ghost Campground). Drive the road, bearing right at a Y-junction. The Mockingbird fire road is on the right after another 1.0 km.
