Itinerary:
We will snowshoe or hike up Fir Creek Ridge and then hike up to the Bull Creek Hills as far as we want, have lunch, and hike back down the same way. This is an unmarked trail about 1/2 km east of the Grass Pass trail but more scenic and interesting.

Gaiters, WIND PROOF jacket. It is usually WINDY up there.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Be at the Sentinel Recreation Area parking lot GATE by 9:30 AM. The Sentinel Recreation Area is about 35 KM west of Longview and 3.8 KM west of the Kananaskis Country entrance sign on Highway 541.From there we will all drive back in a convoy about a half km to the Fir Creek Ridge trailhead.

Notes:
The Fir Creek Ridge route is unmarked and untrailed up to Fir Creek Point. We will have to break trail part way so bring SNOWSHOES. Once we have broken trail we should be able to use MicroSpikes to hike back down.
