Itinerary:

We will hike up to Eagle Hill, have a snack break, hike up to Deer Ridge on the way back and enjoy the rest of our lunch before returning to the parking area.

Required Items to Bring:
MICROSPIKES.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Gaiters. Be prepared for the possibility of some snow.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Drive west on the Trans Canada. Take exit 143 for AB-68 the Sibbald Creek Trail. Turn Left and drive 22 km on the Sibbald Creek Trail and exit to Sibbald Lake. Go Left to the trailhead.

Notes:

There is a possibility of snow on Saturday. Hopefully it would be at night, not during the day. There will likely be fresh snow from Wednesday anyway. Temperatures should be around zero so it will like mild winter hiking.
