Itinerary:
The trip starts from Wapta Lake picnic area just west of the continental divide. The initial section is on a good trail to an old fire lookout. It is an easy scramble above the lookout, mostly on intermittent trail and boulders, big and small. No exposure. Great views of the peaks of Yoho, Lake Louise and Lake O'Hara.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:We can carpool from Shouldice Arena at Home Road with vaccinated people at 7:30 a.m. Or meet at 9:30 at the Wapta Lake picnic area just west of the Great Divide Lodge on Trans Canada Highway. The drive from Shouldice to Wapta Lake is 186km and takes 1 hour and 50 min.
