Itinerary:

This hike is also known as Mt Allan Centennial Trail. We will hike to the summit and return the same way, no car shuttle needed this way, absolutely beautiful hike, grassy ridges, a few false summits, very little exposure, nice open terrain, visit the rock garden, mushroom garden rocks, the claw which is a very famous pinnacle, and at last, the summit. Bring lots of water, food, clothing for all conditions known to man and woman kind. Forecast today (Aug. 26th) is 16 with 10% POP. A great day to hike.

Ribbon Creek Parking Lot: Hwy 40. Turn west onto Mt. Allan Drive (Kananaskis Village-Nakiska Area). Turn first left onto Centennial Drive, then next right onto Ribbon Creek Road. Drive past Kananaskis Wilderness Hostel to the upper Ribbon Creek parking lot at the end of the road.
