Itinerary:

Please meet in the parking lot at Lantern Creek at 9:45 and be prepared to start the hike at 10:00 am. We will hike to all 4 Picklejar Lakes

Required Items to Bring:
Ensure you have a pass for Kananaskis Park or are prepared to pay the $15.00 daily entrance fee.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Lots of water, hat, bear spray.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Meet in the parking lot for Lantern Creek Day Use Area. This can be approached from the south by going through Longview and then heading north on highway 40 (about 39 km). It can also be approached from the north by taking Highway 1 west to Highway 40. Go past the turnoff to Peter Lougheed Park, Highwood Pass and Picklejar Creek. The parking lot is on the west side of the highway.

We will make every effort to avoid hiking alongside the group of Weekend Hikers leaving the parking lot at 9:45 am.
