We will hike up the steep route to the lookout and take the longer scenic route back to the cars.

Event Directions:

Take hwy 22 south to Longview & turn right on AB 541. Drive 43 kms West to Highwood Junction and turn left on 940. Drive 11 kms down the gravel road and park on at the trailhead on the right side.

Notes:

This is a separate event than the new member's hike which starts earlier. Please be ready to start hiking at 09:15 AM and make sure you are in the right group.
