Itinerary:

Easy 4 km and 455 meters to the viewpoint at the edge of the cirque. Interesting old mining buildings and shafts on way up. You may continue with us on the good trail around to the other side of the cirque and a little ways up the ridge for a total of 12 km and 755 vertical meters.

Upper Bankhead Parking Lot and Picnic Area on Lake Minnewanka Scenic Drive. Same parking lot as Cascade Fire Road.
