Itinerary:
We will hike from the west end to the east end of the trail and then return either back along the south side of the river (8 km) or over the river via the Crowchild bridge and along the south side of the river (9 km). The group can decide when we finish the Trail portion of the hike. There are a number of stairs to climb on the west end of the trail. Anticipate 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

The forecast is for a high of 29, so bring sunscreen and water, we will be in the trees for the first half of the hike.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:We will meet at the exercise equipment park east of the public washrooms near Angels Cafe at Edworthy park. Angels Cafe is located at the south end of Shaginappi Trail N.W. next to the construction. For those coming from the South you might like to park in the Edworthy south parking lot and walk across the pedestrian bridge to the meeting location.
