Itinerary:
The trail head is at the Upper Bankhead picnic area parking lot. We expect to be there by 9:15. After the formalities we will begin the hike. We'll have lunch at the destination with lots of time for relaxing. We will stop for photo ops, water breaks and anything else deemed necessary.

I have another source for the elevation and distance, Alltrails.com, and they suggest that the elevation may be closer to 700 meters over the same distance. The club data is what I have posted above. We'll discuss it when we get to 4.2 kms out.
