Itinerary:

The larches at Chester Lake are lovely but better up at the Elephant Rocks. And beyond that at the first of the three lakes in the valley are beautiful. The plan is to hike above that lake and enjoy the views below us. Expect approx 5 1/2 hours on trail including breaks. Pace will be moderate.
