Itinerary:

I can't believe that I haven't made it up to Jumpingpound summit this season yet! As well as the summit I'd like to continue along the ruffles of the east ridge towards Moose Mountain (possibly 3 or 4 ups and downs) before returning the same way. Expect 5 to 6 hours on trail including breaks.

This can be accessed from either the north or south end and is approximately half way along the Powderface Trail (gravel road). From the north end it is a large pullout on the right hand side just after you cross a texas gate and start to head downhill. From the south end it is approx 18km from the start of the gravel road at the end of highway 66
