Itinerary:

I have never been to Dyson Falls and would like to explore the area. We will meet at the Indian Oils Day Use area at 10 a.m. There is no rush, there will be time for delayering, water, snacks, photos etc. on our way to the falls. After lunch at the falls we will work our way back and maybe take a short side trip up Hoffman Hill (about 100m) to the lookout if there's interest. Hopefully the meadows are still in bloom.

Required Items to Bring:
Bear Spray, Bug Spray, snacks, water, lunch, all the usual things you bring to a hike

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Take Stoney Trail south from YYC to 22X. Follow west to Hwy 22. Turn left and follow 28 km to Turner Valley. At the 4 corners, turn right on Sunset Blvd/Hwy 546 and follow westward for 32 km to the Indian Oils Day Use area. Allow a few extra minutes for cow jams and wildlife on the road.
