Itinerary:

The 3 P's loop consists of the Powderface Creek, Prairie Link and Prairie Creek trails in the Elbow Valley. Lots of ups and downs with one steeper climb. A mix of forest and open areas too. At this time of year we may encounter snow, an ice floe and mud as the frost starts to come out of the ground. Come prepared with waterproof boots and microspikes. Approx 4 hours on trail including breaks.

Googlemaps recognises Powderface Creek trailhead but will direct you to the Elbow Falls parking lot. Instead drive a little further to the winter gate turning right into the Powderface creek trailhead. If this is full there is a small parking lot on the opposite side of the highway.
