Itinerary:
I would ask that anyone who signs up for this hike has at least been double vaccinated against Covid. Who wants to check out Junction Falls before the water in the Sheep River gets too cold? The day starts with a wade across the Sheep River - latest reports indicate it is knee deep - I don't know the height of the person doing the measuring though ;-) The trail then follows a logging road through forest passing the site of an old sawmill on the way to the main waterfall. Return the same way. Time on trail approx 5 hours.

Required Items to Bring:
Kananaskis Pass. Everything you need for a full day hike.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Water shoes, hiking poles. Layers - it's getting chilly in the mornings.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Get yourself to Turner Valley and turn right at the 4 way stop onto highway 546 west - follow the road for approx 38km to it's end at the Junction Creek day use area. Use one of the lower parking lots.
