Itinerary:

Beauvais Lake is like a gem in the Crown of the Continent. The montane subregion of the Rocky Mountain Natural Region protects rare and diverse ecosystems and wildlife, including species at risk like the northern leopard frog. The park provides opportunities for recreation, education and enjoyment of this amazing landscape. Plan to walk the Piney Point Trail - to the viewpoint and return to the parking lot via the South Shore Trail. There are options to add on additional loops to this route. How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Meet at Beaver Creek Day Use Area. Once you enter the park sign turn right and proceed down road to group camping area. This is the north side of the lake. Was not well signed last year. Drive from Calgary is approximately 2.5 hours. The park can be approached 2 ways: 1) via Pincher Creek - Take Hwy 507 west to Hwy 775 south 2) via Beaver Mines - Take Hwy 507 east to Hwy 775 south
