Itinerary:

I would ask that anyone who signs up for this hike has at least been double vaccinated against Covid. Like we did on the May long weekend let's avoid the holiday traffic on the highway and check out the hills on Nose Hill instead. This will be a hike with lots of hills along the way including the stairs on the east side. We will start from the parking lot at 64th Ave and 14th St NW, head north, then west through the forested areas along the northern edge of the park. On reaching Edgemont we will then make our way back checking out some other hilly areas along the way. We will NOT be on the paved paths if I can avoid them. Expect to be out 3 1/2 to 4 hours.

A red shirt for Canada day. Hiking poles if you want them for the hills

Take 14th St NW to the junction with 64th Ave NW - turn into the parking lot here. There are traffic signals at this junction.

Notes:

There are no washrooms at the 64th Ave parking lot but we will be passing the ones at Berkley Gate and Edgemont.
