Itinerary:

The trail ascends through forest along Rowe Creek. At 5.2km we arrive at Rowe meadow where we can see our trail ascending steadily across the valley. At the end of the first very long switchback we will take a short side trail to look down on Lineham Lakes. This is our destination. On our return we will take a 1.2km side trip and 160m gain through alpine larch (hopefully turning) to Upper Rowe Lake before returning to the trailhead. The viewpoint is 14.5km return with 864m elevation gain. The lake is am extra 2.5km and 178m elevation gain.

Required Items to Bring:
Layers for all seasons. Enough food and water for a 7-8 hour hike

From Waterton take the Akamina Parkway towards Cameron Lake. The Rowe Lakes trailhead is approx 10.5km up the road. Drive time approx 15mins from Bear Mtn Motel
