Itinerary:

This trail is in the Gwynne Valley. It travels along the west shore of Coal Lake, through woodlands and meadows, with up and down terrain. Pelicans and other birds are often seen on this trail. The trail has not been maintained this year so there could be fallen trees, very long grass and other trail impediments. This will be a one-way hike so will entail some car shuffling. Johanna Fischer (Waskahegan Trail Assoc. member) will be assisting with leading this hike and will direct the car parking.
