Itinerary:

This is a good shoulder season hike. We will go up Sulphur Mountain, stop for lunch, then return the same way. Please bring icers and Park Pass if you're driving. NOTE: Starting May 15, 2026, a new 3-year pilot program introduces $17.50 per day paid parking at the Banff Upper Hot Springs and nearby Sulphur Mountain lots. The fee applies daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. between May 15 and October 12, 2026. A valid national park pass is still required for entry to the park.
