Itinerary:

this is a nice switch back trail through the trees to the ridge. The extra 2 km is for some exploratory walking along the ridge through the flowers.

We will meet at the end of Hwy 66 (junction of entrance to little elbow campground and powderface gravel road) at 9:30. Then we will drive 17 kms in convoy/ carpool down the gravel road to the trailhead.

Notes:

CARPOOLING FROM CALGARY- if you want to carpool from Calgary, you may want to contact someone on the list and make arrangements. I am not aware of any designated locations on the west side near Hwy 8.
