Itinerary:
Wall Lake is the most popular hike in Akamina- Kishinena Park. This lake has a breathtaking setting beneath sheer limestone rock walls. Up top is the Akamina Ridge. Most of the elevation gain is in the first 2 kms. Its a forest walk and is quite spectacular with the white and black trees from the 2017 fire as contrast. We are starting early to avoid the heat. Also there is an option to explore around the lake a bit.
