Itinerary:

We will hike counter-clockwise around the perimeter of the Cross Conservation area, at a good moderate pace, and stop about half way around for a snack. The trail is well marked and dry, with some stretches in the shade and others open to full sunshine

Required Items to Bring:
Water, sunscreen. It will be a hot day by the time we finish.

How to Get There:

W of Calgary off highway 22X. Address: 20-94001 160 Street West, Foothills, Alberta. We will meet at the top of the hill by the corner of the education building. It is a short way above the Cross Conservation Area parking lot, and has a public washroom. We'll do intros and depart from there.

Notes:

There is a $10 parking fee to use the parking lot, and guests are not permitted to park on the road. You can pay by cash in an envelope into a pillar at the side of the parking lot, or you can pay in advance on line at their website.
