Itinerary:

This hike is for Waterton multi-day participants only. There is a boat shuttle required to get to the trailhead. The boat leaves the Waterton Marina at 8:30, so please be there by 8:15. This hike is a classic! Be aware that there is a short tunnel that you will have to traverse as well as a section where you "cling to a safety cable as you round an airy mountainside." It is known for its views, waterfalls, interesting trail, and a beautiful lake at the end.

Required Items to Bring:
Bears are known to frequent the area so please bring bear spray and know how to use it. There may still be some lingering snow, particularly at the lake, so please bring microspikes.

You will need to purchase your boat ticket in advance. You need to purchase it ($31) at the Waterton Marina in-person. You can purchase it up to 3 days in advance (first come, first served), or on the morning of departure. I would recommend popping over there as soon as you get to Waterton so that you don't miss out. Marina office hours are 8am - 6pm. No cash. Credit and debit cards only.
