Itinerary:
This is probably the most peaceful and unique hike that I lead in Calgary. Starting from the meeting point we will hike east along Canmore park, around the south side of the Confederation golf course, through Confederation park and the lower part of Queens cemetery to 4st. NW. We will then return after going up to the Veterans Memorial and Chinese section of the cemetery and back to the starting point. I anticipate the walk will take between 2 and 3 hours.

Required Items to Bring:
It is going to be a hot day (high in the afternoon of 29) although we will be walking in the cooler part of the morning and 50% of the walk is in the shade. Bring water and sunscreen.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:We will meet at the west end of Canmore Rd. NW which is located just off 19th st. across from the Confederation golf course. Drive all the way to the west end of the Rd. close to Banff Trail School playground.
