Itinerary:

Meet at trailhead at 9:15 and be ready to hike by 9:30. Mostly forest with excellent vies of surrounding mountains. Pace will be moderate, steady.

Required Items to Bring:
The usual layers for mountain weather, lunch, snacks, water.

From BC-3 Crowsnest HW in Fernie turn North on Riverside Road (just west of the bridge over Mutz Creek). Go 70 meters on Riverside Rd and turn Left on Beach Ave. Go 350 meters on Beach Ave and turn Left into the parking area. I think it’s called Lorenzo’s Gate.

Notes:

This hike is a substitute for the Fernie Ridge and Mount Baldy Loop which are both inaccessible due to road closure.
