Itinerary:
Jumpingpound east ridge is an undulating ridge that connects the summit of Jumpingpound Mountain to a grassy meadow in view of the north ridge of Moose Mountain. From Jumpingpound Summit we travel mostly NNE toward Moose Mountain in the distance. There are 4 tops and 4 cols. (We do not go to col 5 which would take us to Moose Mountain's north ridge). The forecast for Wednesday (at the moment) is sunny 25 degrees with !0% POP. (Moderate/difficult hike which is not an option on the Difficulty Rating above).

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Jumpingpound Summit trailhead which is on the Powderface Trail. From the junction of Hwy. 66 and Powderface Trail drive 17.7 kms. The trailhead is on the east side of the road. Park on the west side of the road.
