Itinerary:

We will hike at a moderate pace with brief rest stops on the uphills as required. Hopefully with the sunny weather this week the meadows will be filled with wildflowers at their peak. We will have lunch at the top of the pass and enjoy the views. This will be a full day of hiking as I am not in a rush to get back to the city.

Required Items to Bring:
Bear spray (mandatory), park pass and anything else you need for a long day hike.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Hike begins behind the building (right hand side) at the Sunshine parking lot. The large lot is closed, but there is parking in a smaller lot with portapotties. If we do not see each other in the parking lot, we will meet at the trailhead. Hoping to arrive by 8:30 and be on the trail shortly thereafter.
