Write Up:It turned out to be another beautiful blue sky day in our backyard and
we appreciated it even more knowing what's coming weatherwise in the
next couple of days!
Snowy trails made the going hard work at times but microspikes were
sufficient, in fact, we could almost have hiked the trail without
them.
We had the trail to ourselves apart from one mountain biker who we had
a lovely chat with. Our usual lunch spot at the viewpoint was in the
wind so we retreated down the trail to a sheltered spot to enjoy our
well deserved sandwiches.
Stats for today were 10.6km with 448mm of cumulative elevation.
