Write Up:First winter hike in the books!
What a difference a couple of days makes, but we are in Alberta after all!
Thankful that the rain on the drive out changed over to snow as we got to the trailhead and that the forecast 40km/h wind gusts blew somewhere else.
It was a great reminder to check that our layers are adequate for the wintry conditions - my warmer mitts are going in my pack for next time.
Thank you to my fellow crazy ladies - who are always game to hike with me - cos we did have a fun day out.
