We couldn't have asked for a better day to explore the trails at Bow Valley south provincial park. Great hiking temps with sunshine, blue sky and, surprisingly for the Bow Valley corridor, no wind! Other than six horses and riders we didn't see another soul all day. The trails were in great shape and the fall colours were beautiful. The Bonsai Rocks are a surprise in the middle of the forest possibly deposited by a long melted glacier. If you have never been to the south Bow Valley park you need to check it out. Stats were 11km with 345m of cumulative elevation. Total time out was 4 minutes over the 4 hour mark ;-) Photos will be uploaded to the gallery, password - pmhfotos
