Write Up:This was the year to conquer this trail in great weather. Susan C and I
participated on the hike 4 years earlier when we had wind gusts of 100
km and driving rain. It seemed as if the trail was totally different
from the earlier one. We grazed on blueberries and huckleberries from
Summit Lake to the ridge trail at the top and on the way down. So
delicious! Andrea and Mike joined Susan and me on the hike. The views of
the lakes were stunning, and the trail was in excellent condition.
Several Parks Canada employees were clearing the trail brush near Summit
Lake. Overall, the hike was a remarkable success!
