Write Up:It was ladies day today. Five of us enjoyed the winter conditions on
the Powderface Creek and Prairie Link trails before encountering
spring conditions along the Prairie Creek trail. These consisted of
ice, mud, sticky mud and dry trail. The last part after the rock step
and some hard packed ice was back to winter conditions so we were able
to clean off our boots and spikes somewhat.
We only saw a handful of folks all day and one whiskey jack at
lunchtime who didn't hang around when we told him that we had nothing
for him.
My stats were 12.5km and 490m of cumulative elevation. Helen had an
extra 0.5km so I don't know where she went that I didn't ;-)
