Write Up:It was a lovely day for a hike around the perimeter of the Hill - once
it warmed up a bit ;-) Hiking up the stairs from the get go helped
get the blood flowing!
We took the low route on the east side to stay out of the worst of the
cold wind from the north west, enjoyed the shelter of the trees at the
north end and had the wind behind us as we hiked back down the west
perimeter to our vehicles. There was a bench and some rocks at the
north end where we enjoyed lunch in the warmth of the sun, and watched
a coyote drink at the pond before heading off along the trail.
Stats were 14.4km with 344m of cumulative elevation gain.
New member Debra joined us today for her first club hike.
