Write Up:

This hike has taken me years to complete. I have turned back twice
in the past because of poor weather conditions on the ridge top.
This year, success! We were a group of five hikers. Jean, Srija, Eileen
and guest Lisa. We had dynamic weather on the ridge, but it did not
impede our progress. We hiked in the clouds, mist and wind for
35 minutes on the top. The clouds would fly by us and swirl on the
towering rock faces above Wall Lake.
Soon the sun appeared and we had sweeping vistas of the valleys
below us on each side of the ridge. The ridge continued for another 6
kilometers before we started to descend to Wall Lake. We took a wrong
turn at Wall Lake because of poor signage,  but we found our way back
to the main trail after fording a small stream.

The remainder of the hike was a gradual downhill grade on a weel-worn path
to the trailhead.
Thanks to Jean, Srija, Eileen and Lisa for joining me on the hike
and making the day so enjoyable.

Total hike time: 9 hours. Distance: 19.5 km. Elevation: 1111 meters.
