Write Up:This is quite a dense wooded area located west of the Valley Ridge golf
course. There are lots of trails braiding so 'all trails' app was
essential for route finding. We had the benefit of Nona's map from a
previous trip which we basically followed. It took us along the river
out to a number of view points of the Bearspaw Dam so there were open
areas as well. We did approx 7 km and 190 metres eg. The dirt trail is
very roly poly with lots of roots. Its definitely more of a hike than a
city walk and I recommend hiking poles for the steep sections. Lots of
wildflowers and few people. While suitable for mountainbiking we didnt
see any - yeah
