Write Up:It was a beautiful day for a hike up to Baldy Pass. The trail was in
great shape with only a small section of snow to cross near the pass
(the remnants of an avalanche). From the pass we climbed a little bit
higher and found some nice rock stools to perch on for lunch just at the
junction for Midnight Peak. Met three ladies from Lacombe who knew
people that some of us have hiked with on other trips - it's a small
world - otherwise the trail wasn't busy. There were enough flowers to
satisfy the photographers and flower hounds amongst us ;-)
