Write Up:Warm temperatures had us opt for the paved route first so we could be cooler on the
ravine path for our return. In addition to visiting with each other we learnt that the name
12 Mile Coulee Rd was derived from the fact that in chuckwagon days it was 12 miles
from centre of town to this locale. 6.5 km 80 m elevation as diid route in reverse.
