Write Up:We had an excellent group of 10 people participate in the Yoho Valley,
Emerald Lake Burgess overnight event. Thanks to Holly for leading a
hike to Helen Lake and back. Thanks to Peter for leading an Iceline, to
Celeste Lake, to Laughing Falls hike. The weather was mostly pleasant,
with an experience of the elements, such as sleet, snow, and rain during
the Iceline hike. On Tuesday some of us also took in a 6 km hike in
Canmore, lead by Peter. We learned that Yoho Valley is not the place to
go to see the larches.
