Write Up:The frost on the trees was beautiful on the drive out this morning -
and so it should be when it's -13C! Luckily it was 'warmer' at the
trailhead at -9C. We were soon delayering as we walked along in the
sun. A mix of exploratory to check out Jack's Hill and the known
trail to Mesa Butte.
We couldn't have asked for a better day - sunshine, no wind and fresh
snow to make everything pretty, and only us on the trail!
Stats were 11.2km, 529m due to all the ups and downs, 3.24hrs moving
time but a leisurely 4.52hrs total time - we definitely lingered over
lunch in the sun.
