Write Up:We were pleasantly surprised to find some fresh snow in the area -
literally as you entered the parking lot. Sunshine joined us for the
first little while then the Chinook cloud took over. Some mountain
bikers had been out ahead of us and packed the trail down which was most
welcome. We couldn't have asked for more pleasant temperatures in
February for our 15km hike. No merlins at Merlin View but we did come
across a couple of cardinals ;-)
