Write Up:It was a very hot day for the hike. We proceeded up an old road for
quite a distance before we turned off into the forest. Fortunately some
huckleberries were still available for snacking. The lake was
delightful, a pristine jewel surrounded by cliffs and forest. The group
split up with some proceeding onto Haig Ridge, some going up the ridge
partially and others retuning to the resort. A cold drink was very
welcome after this hike!
