Write Up:A beautiful day in our backyard to celebrate a special birthday with
Sonja on Powderface ridge.
We started from the north end so avoided much of the elevation that
the main south end start entails. On reaching the viewpoint we took
a short side trail to the outlier to enjoy beautiful 360 views
including the entire Nihahi ridge and the main Powderface ridge that
we were about to continue along. We stayed on the main ridge and
enjoyed lunch in the sunshine before heading back the way we came.
Total distance was 9.5km with cumulative elevation of 440m.
