Write Up:There were 12 signed up and then there were only 3 remaining. Luckily 2 more joined
us and we were 5 INTREPID HIKERS of HARDY Northern Stock. With a 10% chance
of no rain our glass was 90% full and we eagerly set out into the unknown with only our
AllTrails to guide us through the wilderness. With our expert guide we were at the
beautiful turquoise lake in a majestic cirque in 1:40 hours at a leisurely pace. We ate a
nutritious lunch in a light drizzle wearing all our rain gear. The grasses and bushes were
so wet even the bears stayed home. We had the whole mountain to ourselves. Too bad
if you missed this fantastic day. See you on the trails.
