Write Up:The ladies had a wonderful hike around the Aspen Jungle in the
Yamnuska Natural area. Lots of aspens, 7 different lakes/ponds, some
waxwings and one deer leg - and some pussy willows too!
We decided to save 'the surprise' for another day when it's less
windy as we were concerned by the number of freshly downed trees that
we were seeing.
Trail stats - almost 11km and 260m of cumulative elevation.
Best of all - we had the whole trail to ourselves in this under
appreciated area below the towering summit of Yamnuska.
